Why do I use kratom every single day? Why am I “living the kratom lifestyle?”
I use kratom every day because I want to feel good every day. I like how I feel when I use kratom. I feel happy and relaxed. I feel energized to get things done. I feel more content with my life. I feel optimistic that I’m going to accomplish my goals. I find it easier to get along with people.
I use it to help me tolerate my job. I use it to not only tolerate being around other people but to actually connect with them. I use it for extra energy. I use it to get motivated to accomplish all that I need to get done. I use it to feel optimistic about my future plans.
I use slow strains to balance out the edginess from a fat loss supplement that I take. I use slow strains on the weekend to relax and chill. I use it to enhance my meditation so that I reach a deeper state and reach that state more quickly.
Is it a crutch? Is it addictive? Maybe. Maybe coffee is a crutch and coffee is addictive. Or soda. Or energy drinks. If you struggle with easily becoming addicted to substances then please think long and hard about whether you should try kratom or not.
Let me share with you my experience with using kratom every day to help you decide if you want to make it part of your daily routine.
Kratom Just Feels Good On Most Days
I usually feel great when I’m using kratom.
Occasionally, I have a day that just feels average.
Once in a while I have a day where I’m down in the dumps.
That’s ok. Before kratom the ratio of great to average to bad days was twenty percent to fifty percent to thirty percent. Now with kratom the ratios are sixty percent to thirty percent to ten percent. I feel good or great ninety percent of the time.
Are There Drawbacks To The Kratom Lifestyle?
You’ll spend more money on kratom than if you only use it occasionally.
You’ll have to take extra precautions to make sure you don’t build up a tolerance.
You’ll need more strains to cycle through.
You’ll need to plan ahead to deal with kratom withdrawal if you decide to stop using it.
Think about this before you decide to commit to the kratom lifestyle.
What Are The Benefits?
You’ll experience less anxiety in most situations (as long as you’re using high-quality, “clean” kratom).
You’ll feel more motivated to accomplish your goals.
You’ll have more energy.
You’ll tolerate people more easily.
You’ll find it easier to talk to and connect with people.
You can lose weight if you want because it reduces your appetite.
You have an alternative to alcohol or other substances to help you relax.
How To Live The Kratom Lifestyle
It’s best to have a plan. Schedule the kratom you plan to use depending on the day and what you have planned. You can plan it out for a week in advance if you want.
I keep a log of the strains I am rotating and I decide that morning which strain I’m going to take depending on what I have going on for the day.
Know the effects of different strains ahead of time. Last week I wasn’t paying attention and I used a slow strain on a day that I needed to get a lot done. I felt lazy that whole day and I had to put in extra effort to get all my work done.
Avoid building a tolerance to kratom by rotating strains and knowing how much to take. Avoid taking the same strain more than once in a seven-day period. This is a minimum. If you can rotate even more strains that would be better.
I currently have fifteen strains in my permanent rotation plus some other strains that I’m testing. Some of those strains, like White Hippo and Rockstar Hippo, I use every week while others I cycle through (for example I might use Happy Hippo II on Thursday of one week and then Elite Elephant on Thursday of the following week).
Plan when you’re going to use it. I use it once in the morning and once again in the early afternoon. Sometimes I don’t burn it in the afternoon but I always burn some in the morning.
Find a way to bring kratom with you if you’re on the go. I use small plastic containers like the kind you would pack in your lunch bag to carry salad dressing. Weigh it ahead of time and pack it.
I’ve even just put the small plastic container in the pocket of my pants when I wasn’t going to carry my lunch bag around and I knew I would be using kratom later in the day (if you do this be sure the container stays tightly sealed or you’ll have a mess in your pocket).
Living the kratom lifestyle has been very rewarding. The benefits far outweigh any potential drawbacks.
You should think about this for yourself before you commit.
The main considerations to implementing this lifestyle are to have at least seven strains to rotate, know the effects of each strain, and plan which strain you’ll use on any given day based on what you have planned for the day. You’ll also need a way to carry the kratom with you if you’re going to use it on the go.
