Taking care of boring, menial tasks is something that most of us struggle with. Our lives are hectic enough without the burden of mindless little chores that zap our energy and bore us to tears. Will kratom help you do busywork?
Interestingly, one of the most underrated benefits of kratom is its ability to make boring, repetitive tasks not only tolerable, but even enjoyable.
How does kratom accomplish this? How does kratom make busywork something you may actually enjoy doing instead of something you dread?
How Does Kratom Help You Do Busy Work?
Somehow, kratom makes it so that you don’t mind doing tasks that are normally boring and monotonous. This is great for activities such as household chores and writing and editing.
Kratom gives you a sense of optimism to actually desire to do what needs to be done. If you’re dreading getting started on a particular task or project then kratom is a great way to kick start your enthusiasm and get you going.
Kratom gives you extra energy to accomplish what you need to get done. If you’re low on energy kratom will give you that extra push to get started and to continue until you’re done. Keep in mind that this is true only when you use lower doses of kratom because at higher doses kratom will have a sedating effect. This is true even for fast strains of kratom.
Kratom helps you “get in the zone” so that while your body is going through the motions your mind is humming along. I think of it as getting into a “state of flow” more quickly than it would normally take. It seems like the outside world is closed off and all you’re thinking about is the task at hand.
This is especially useful when you’re trying to write an article. I’m experiencing this effect right now as I type. This article has sat unfinished as a draft for the past three days. I finally decided to get to work on it and got started right after my first kratom dose of the day.
Kratom helps make it seem like time has gone by quickly. Often when I’m at work it feels like the whole first part of the day has just flown by. Before I realize it, it’s time for lunch. This is nice when being at work isn’t necessarily something that you enjoy.
Kratom is great for housecleaning. Sweeping, mopping, dusting, scrubbing and other tasks are usually things that I put off until I have no choice but to do them. With kratom not only do I have the energy to do them but I find that I actually get into the groove and enjoy the process of doing household chores, as crazy as that sounds. My wife swears by kratom when she’s doing housework.
Kratom is also helpful for writing and editing. It’s hard to start with a blank screen or a blank sheet of paper and put down words in a manner that effectively conveys the message that you want to get across.
Kratom enables you to get over that initial hump of getting started and helps you quickly reach a state where the words flow seamlessly from your mind to the screen or the page. Kratom also helps with the editing process by reducing the monotony of it and I have even found that it actually helps me focus better on that process.
Kratom is extremely useful for yard work. I used kratom recently when pulling a ton of weeds. I spent about three hours a day for six days doing this. Kratom helped by keeping me energized and even enthusiastic and motivated about the chore as I was doing it.
What’s The Best Kratom For Busywork?
I think that moderate strains are best for busywork that involves little or no physical activity, such as writing and editing. Moderate strains strike a good balance between the energizing effects of fast strains and the relaxing effects of slow strains. My two favorite moderate strains are White Hippo and Kicker! Hippo.
I usually don’t like slow strains for busywork. I mostly use slow strains to relax and chill. There is one exception, however. I’ve found that Bali Hippo strikes a good balance between motivation and well-being for me. I’ve only used it for writing and editing (it’s what I’ve been using today, as I finish this article). I don’t think that it would be as useful for me if I needed to be doing a lot of physically-demanding busywork.
Kratom is a great way to get busywork done. You won’t mind doing it and you may actually find yourself enjoying the process.
I prefer fast strains for physical busywork and moderate strains for “mental” busywork.

Make sure you’re getting high quality kratom and not wasting your money with old, stale kratom. Out of several vendors that I’ve tried, Happy Hippo Herbals is your best choice.
